The extraction method by Röse-Gottlieb and Schmidt-Bondzynski is still the IDF reference method for fat in milk and other dairy products. This is due to its high accuracy (better than 0.02%). The Hettich Benelux MoPlant is a workstation designed to reduce time taken for the determination of both butter fat and solids in milk using the Mojonnier test. The MoPlant is explosion proof and it takes about 80 minutes to process up to 16 samples (depending on the model) !
