What are Hettich centrifuges used for at blood banks?

Every day, thousands of blood donations are needed for surgical procedures or to treat serious diseases. Blood banks prepare the donated blood by separating the blood into its individual cell components. HETTICH centrifuges are used for this separation at blood banks all over the world and perform reliably 24/7. HETTICH centrifuges are particularly valued for their reliable temperature control, which produces precise and reproducible results.

Is it possible to upgrade or retrofit my centrifuge with the HettInfo II?

Yes. All ROTO SILENTA 630 RS devices produced from January 1, 2008 onwards can be upgraded to the HettInfo II. All ROTIXA 500 RS devices can also be upgraded to the HettInfo II.

What is the field of application for the HettLiner?

The HettLiner can be used to support underfilled blood bags in the adapter. Please see the operating instructions for the ROTO SILENTA 630 RS for more information.

Do I need a barcode kit when I order the HettInfo II retrofit kit?

Yes. You have to order the barcode kit as well.

buckets keep blood bags upright during centrifugation for improved separation of blood components.

ROTO SILENTA 630 RS

FIRST CHOICE FOR VOLUMES UP TO 12 LITERS

The ROTO SILENTA 630 RS is highly rated in the rapid and efficient centrifugation of blood bags. It is able to spin up to 12 liter of sample or 12 blood bags per run. Four and six-place rotor options are also available to offer the best possible fit.

In industrial or R&D the ROTO SILENTA accommodated six vessels up to 2,000 ml each.

HETTINFO II

TRANSPARENCY AND TRACEABILITY

With HettInfo II, system-independent, documentation of the individual process steps before and during centrifugation in blood banks is now possible.

The touch display guides the user intuitively through all necessary scanning steps. During the entire process, the system records all process data and makes them available for export in a CSV file.
